Active 2-way Cabinet with 12" Driver

Exceptional design and the highest quality components make Samson's new Live! Active PA enclosures an ideal choice for anyone who needs a small to medium loudspeaker system. And the Live! series' sharp looking all-plywood construction is great for portable or installation applications. Their remarkable performance comes from their high power-handling speaker components, advanced amplifier design, separate speaker processing for both highs and lows and EQ sections designed specifically for the speakers. The highest quality plywood, extensive bracing and dado joints also ensure these cabinets are not only durable, but lightweight as well, enhancing their portability.

The Live! 612 delivers 250 watts to its custom designed, heavy-duty low frequency driver, which features oversize motors and large voice coils. Another 50 watts is delivered to the high frequency compression driver with its titanium diaphragm for an exceptionally articulate response. The Live! series enclosures also employ exclusive Optimax circuitry which divides audio into two separate bands and applies an independent compressor/limiter to each, resulting in maximum volume level without distortion or clipping. Perfect for live music applications, house of worship, theatrical or club installations, the Live! Series from Samson offers a wide range of configurations and are a great choice for high performance loudspeakers.

Lighting and Sound Technician

I am very impressed with both the sound quality and features on these active speakers. We use a pair of them in our Village Hall both as stage monitors for drama and at other times as a pair of centre speakers as part of our community cinema surround sound system (in conjunction with Samson RS15 and RS10 speakers also excellent).

Highly recommended (although they have gone up in price significantly since we bought ours in 2009).
