HyperControl automatically maps the keyboard's 65 controls to commonly accessed parameters in digital audio workstations including Pro Tools®, Cubase, Logic and Reason*, as well as software instruments.

The constant two-way link with your host DAW means the keyboard's controls are always in sync with your software's active parameters. The intuitive graphic LCD constantly updates the current values, which ensures seamless editing and prevents parameter jumps—even when plug-ins are closed.

Toggle instantly between Mixer and Instrument control modes. Map buttons to send QWERTY key commands right from the Axiom Pro 49. Brilliant bit of kit!!!!!

Having recently started producing my own music I looked around a lot for the right Midi Keyboard. It came down to a toss up between the Axiom Pro 49 and the Akai MPK49.
After reading many reviews I decided on the Axiom, an I\'m extremely glad I did. After prompt delivery from Dolphin I opened the box with a big smile on my face. As I sat looking at this beautiful bit of kit I began to play with all the faders, buttons, knobs, pads and keys. The build quality of the Axiom Pro 49 is of a very high standard.
The rest of the contents of the box was the USB lead, manuals, CD for Windows users and a copy of Ableton Live 7 Lite.
I\'d be using a Mac Book Pro and Ableton Suite 8 with my Pro 49. There is a sheet of paper that informs Mac user not to use an auto setup that pops up when you plug in a Midi Keyboard (be sure to read).
With the keyboard now all plugged in I went to Midi Sync in Preferences within Ableton an set this to AxiomPro (for more detailed information on how to set up go to Axioms website).
Once this was done I discovered that some of the controls worked and some didn\'t. Don\'t panic! You will need a firmware update from Axioms website. Once the update was done everything was perfectly in sync.
Playing the keyboard I was more than happy with the Semi weighted TruTouch keys. It was a delight to play.
All in all I\'m over joyed with this Midi Keyboard. Hyper Control is fantastic as saves all the mundane programming of keys. Highly recommended to any producer........
