Fender Strat MIM

I just got hold of one of these. Considering it is 3 times cheaper than the American version, this is a stunning high quality guitar. I can't imagine how the American one could be 3 times better except for extra gadgetry.

The neck is absolutely spot on, and the gloss maple fingerboard is finished to an extremely high standard. Actually the whole guitar is extremely well built and finished. It has a pure Strat tone and the differing pick up combinations really make for a versatile sound. I heard rumours of these mexican strats going out of tune, but nothing like that has happened. (It was in tune when it came out of the box!). I've lowered the action on mine and it plays beautifully.

Ok, so its Mexican..I wouldn't let that bother you. It hasn't been thrown together, the quality is too high for that and it still has everything you'd want from a Fender Strat (because it is one!). I have played hundreds of guitars and this is as good as any of them so far.

Highly recommended!!

I have recently bought this guitar because I owned an Epiphone Les Paul Zakk Wylde and decided i wanted something less \"rock\". Whilst shopping around i considered the PRS SE custom and singlecut, but i found the strat most suited my style of playing. It is just so versatile and a joy to play. The tone and vibe of the guitar is amazing. It is a classic, top quality guitar for under £400 what more could you want? I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a guitar in the £300-£500 reign. There are also so many different colours Dolphin Music offer with a choice of maple or rosewood fretboard, so go for it!
