The Fender Standard Strat is without a doubt the finest value for money product available today. Back in the early \'70s when I saved up and bought my first REAL Fender it cost the equivalent of one months wages. The quality wasn\'t any near as good ie. bad neck joints etc. You can buy said Strat today for what is about the eq. of only one weeks wages. Far better engineered OK it might not have the vibe/history so hey, get out there and play the thing. Make your own history, don\'t just read about someone elses.
