Announcing the VT series --- the latest combo amps in the Valvetronix series, featuring simulation sounds of famous guitarists.

Features

  • VOX Valve Reactor circuit that uses a 12AX7 to produce real tube power amp sound.
  • Twenty-two realistic amp models are built-in, ranging from the latest high-gain types to unobtainable legendary boutique amps and vintage amps.
  • Twelve high-quality effects including independent reverb, rivaling the quality of dedicated units
  • Three banks (basic, effected, and song) are provided for each amp model, giving you a total of sixty-six preset programs.
  • Twenty-two programs of "song presets" simulate the sounds of famous guitarists.
  • You can save eight of your own edited programs.
  • Power level control allows you to adjust the output wattage of the power amp, meaning that you can obtain that distinctive power amp distortion even at low output levels.
  • Headphone output lets you practice at home, even at night.
  • The VT50/100 provide an external speaker output, and the VT100 provides an effect loop for expandability.
  • By using the VFS5 foot switch you can use your foot to change programs or turn effects on/off.

OMG! it\'s awesome!
the quailty of the output is magnificent. the sound can be as rich as you want. the presets are the best. the VOX badge is naff plastic though! it lets the look down a tiny bit they should have made it metal! it still a 10 star job though

So impressed with the sounds. I had a Marshall Valvestate 40watt before, I thought that sound was good - this is so much better! This has a warmer, more creamy sound with a lot of variety. Being able to save presets is also great, no longer will I forget how to get my favourite sounds! Maybe wish I\'d gone for the 30watt incase I ever get out gigging again but this is a great bedroom/home-recording amp.

Vox VT15 - versatile and good value

After returning to the electric guitar from a 15 year hiatus, I have to say that guitar practice amps have come a really long way.

This amp is so versatile thanks to the digital modelling and tube/solid-state hybrid technology.

One of the neatest features is the patch recall. You can save the settings in up to 8 \'channels\', which is useful in itself - but if you want to tweak a sound you saved earlier you can get all the dials back to their saved state by turning each knob until the channel light goes out briefly.

Another fantastic feature is being able to reduce the actual power of the amp rather than turning down the master volume to keep a consistent sound at lower volumes.

With built-in effects, great sound and amp modelling - what more could you want for the price?

Sweet baby jebus and the orphans!! No messing about, this amp is simply great. tons of cool sounds. gives phat tones. would defo recomend to all.

Fantastic sounding hybrid amp which accurately (though not perfectly) copies amps used by famous guitarists such as Slash and Brian May. Delivers many sounds from fantastic cleans to heavy overdriven sounds and all sorts in between. The effects are good, if a little gimmicky and the ability to save 8 presets is a bonus. would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and effective practice amp.
p.s. for a practice amp, it is loud and can easily be used for jamming sessions.
