The Fender '72 Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar is a versatile tone machine. 1972 was a magical year for the Telecaster, as the venerable design spawned options and new designs left and right. The Custom took a classic alder or ash body (depending on finish) and added a C-shape maple neck, bullet truss rod, vintage string-thru Tele bridge and 3-bolt neckplate brought to life by a Wide Range humbucking neck pickup and a traditional single-coil bridge pickup. Controls include 2 volume and 2 tone knobs plus a 3-way toggle switch. Black/white/black pickguard.

With this guitar being a \"B-stock\" to the original guitar, it actually offers the playing versatillity as the original. Whilst playing this guitar i have been part of both a metal band and a pop-punk band, both in which i have recieved various compliments about the guitars sound. The mixture between the humbucker and the single coil pick-ups offers a unique sound in which no other guitar, but the telecaster can offer. This is no different with the \'72 telecaster, and when playing it, apposed to the three or four other tele\'s i have played the sound of this guitar seems much more enhanced. And for the breath-taking price of just £429.00 from dolphin music, gives the guitar extra graditude. So for this price, you are NOT going to find another fender, or any other guitar for that matter, with a better sound versatillity than the \'72 custom - maple - black B-Stock
