The next generation KRK Rokit RP6 G2 Active Monitors incorporate several technologies from the company's flagship lines, including sleeker curved edges that actually make them sound even better.

KRK Rokit RP6 G2 features refined voicing and a new curved baffle that effectively reduces diffraction providing even better monitoring accuracy. The enhanced design custom drivers and the superior tweeter wave guide provide optimal frequency pattern control and focuses the sound outward, away from the cabinet.

Best of the cheaper KRK\\\'s

Compared to both the Rokit 5\'s and the Rokit 8\'s these are much better all rounders for home recording and would be excellent for studio recording too. The 5\'s and the 8\'s are very good monitors but with the 5\'s there is a lack of power compared to the higher two, and with the 8\'s although they are extremely good they are very very bass heavy (but you find that with a lot of larger monitors) and if you want to close monitor something you have to turn them right down which makes it more difficult to hear the full mix of whatever you\'re doing. With the 6\'s they are still very powerful but you are able to close monitor and monitor loudly without struggling to hear or straining the speakers. They are a great size too, the 8\'s are about the size of an average human!

Although they don\'t have the same power as the 8\'s i feel they are a better all round choice!
