The Ibanez SV5470F DSB SV Prestige electric guitar features an Ash/Mahogany body with a flamed maple top and a 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck with 24 Jumbo frets, Rosewood fretboard with dot inlays, and a revolutionary non-locking tremolo.

The non-locking trem synchroniZR bridge with ZPS-FX spring system features a ball bearing pivot, one piece saddle for minimum wobble and loss of string vibration.The ZPS-FX spring system enables switching between floating and non-floating by turning a knob on the back body.

Double True-Duo humbucking pickups offer massive tonal possibilites with push-pull volume knobs to switch the pickup configuration between H-S-H and S-S-S by one push/pull.

This is by far the best the guitar I\'ve owned.
The pull switch gives a range of 10 pickup positions including true single coil, this gives a range of tone from something similar to a Strat all the way through to high output humbucker tones.
Even though the guitar is very thin, and thus very comfortable to play, the tone is very good - due to good quality woods and good quality craftmanship.
The 24 fret neck is superb and access right up to the top is a breeze.
I was a little worried about the new trem, but my worry was needless - it\'s awesome. You can dive bomb all day and it just bounces right back in tune, it also flutters beautifully (if thats your thing). Because there is no locking nut, switching to an alternate tuning is now so easy (drop D in half a turn of a machinehead :o). The Trem can also be locked, without having to take the back plate off, for a more solid bridge feel.
This guitar is very well built, but its ultimate appeal is the versatility: strat tones, humbucker tones, fixed bridge, free tuning, dive bombing, and fluttering. I love it.
