Sure E5c
Before I purchased these earphones I was using the Sure E3c's. I used to think that it couldnt get any better than that, but one day they broke down on me :(. I was just about to buy another pair when I saw the Sure E5c, after umming and arring I decided to do it, a decision I will never regret. When I first plugged them into my iPod I was a little dissapointed in them, the bass seemed fairly weak but the highs were beautifuly crisp. It was much more suited to a hifi or my computer where it realy was able to show off. I listen to a range of music from clasical to heavy rock and the earphones never fail to amaze me, i was able to hear detail I could not even get from the 3's. The bass can go to new defenitions of low without distorting and the mids and highs and impecably accurate.
On the comfort side I would have to say that once you are used to them being in your ear you wont even notice they are there. But there are rare occasions when you just dont want to have them in, this is the only downfall to them, and the same to all in-ear ear phones.
I would highly recomend these to anyone after a pair of In-ear ear phones but be warned, after listening once you wont settle for anything less. Only sujestion would be to get a portable headphone amp for Mp3 players to show the Sure's potential.
