e bow classic use
surely omitted from your list has to be the only true and proper use of e bow and i mean in the hands of the amazing stuart adamson sadly departed of big country fame.
he made the sounds of the celtic bagpipe and so much more from the subtle opening sounds of "chance" to the ripping strains heard on "porrah man".the best exponent of the emow ever.
as for me,well i am slowly losing the use of my right arm due to neurological illness,so as i still need/want to create music but not of the standard rawk'n'nroll variety, then it is an absolute must.it is so easy to use a child could get used to it in a matter of minutes.but its when you use it in overdubs-by using it to select say A then overdub a D then over dub a G etc etc.so as long as you have patience and lots of available tracks, which most modern software programmes have- i use sonar 8,then by slowly using the ebow on different note/strings you can build up a massive chord/choral effect that noone i know has even begun to experiment with.
so guys/gals there is your free tip of the day- run with it-before you hear it in its full glory on my next album "samphire affluence"due out in a couple of months under my bleedthefield moniker.
absolutely essential for anyone who wants to experiment and not afraid to move away from power chords or standard blues methology.
me,well lets just say as proud celt and a lithuanian father(RIP) i fell no association to folk and ethnic scales than i do to the blues-come on people we live in britain not chicago or the missi. delta-why do we even dare to play the blues ?it is an insult to the real men who lived and died playing their own music- why can we not find our own style of music that tugs on the british albion folk heart strings ?

Ebow
Great piece of kit. A must for all guitarists who want something different to do with the instrument.
