Built with working musicians in mind, POD X3 effects processor was designed to fit right in wherever you play, whether that's on stage in front of thousands of screaming fans or in the studio steadily churning out hits.

For those in search of greater tonal possibilities, the Line 6 POD X3 Live gives you more power than ever before to create entirely new sounds. Split your guitar signal and play it through two guitar amp and effect signal chains at once. Use the built-in expression pedal to smoothly change the blend between the two tones, or use it for wah or volume. Add bass or vocals using the bass amp and high-end mic preamp models now included in POD X3 Live. You can even plug in two instruments at once, each with its own independent tone processing.

POD X3 Live pedal includes all of the inputs and outputs you need to practice, perform and record. Use the 1/4" instrument input for guitar or bass and the XLR microphone input for vocals and more. During practice, use the stereo headphones output to keep the noise down. For performances, plug in front of your amp or directly into the P.A. Use the stereo effect loop to add in your favorite stompboxes and other effects as well. When you connect a Line 6 Variax® guitar via the Variax input on your POD X3 Live, you can instantly recall POD X3 Live's amp, cab, and effect model settings matched with the perfect electric or acoustic guitar model all by stepping on a single footswitch. When you're ready to record, use the stereo balanced line outputs or digital S/PDIF output for traditional recording. Or use the USB 2.0 connection for pro-level multi-channel computer recording.

Great unit Very versitile

i love it .. the sounds u get a brilliant there is so many different effects but u have 2 spend a while tweaking all the different tones to get a nice effect the dual tone is brilliant .. and u can download tones off the line 6 websight for songs that people have made or ones that line 6 made themselves i have a line 6 spider III and use that as a speaker now and it sounds brilliant...
The only down side is the stop boxes are very small and can be annoying to press and could break quite easily but as long as u are carefull they will be fine
overall Great unit i love it

POD X3 Live

Excellent piece of gear.

I have had Marshalls for years, but I was finally sold onto modelling kit such as the POD X3 Live when I began to see more and more bands using similar sorts of hardware with no discernable loss of sound quality.

I got the pedal and was not disappointed at all, the Marshall was sold the following week.

There are so many sounds on here and effects it will blow your socks off with the choice. Ok for a purest like myself I can tell the difference between a Modelled Marshall and the real thing but I ask you how many punters can? This thing is pretty damn close.

For practice I put this through my cheap solid state fender on clean all the dials on 5 so that that the sound is not coloured, for a live set up its straight into the PA.

After reading the manual I found the unit easy to use, however you need to spend hours and hours of your time working out what sounds you want - don\'t expect instant results and you will be fne. I found the stock sounds to be a good reference point though. You do need to keep the manual handy for more complex set ups.

I had to go through a massive leap of faith letting go of the Marshall, but it was well worth it. I got loads of sounds, a quicker setup at gigs and a lighter load.

Excellent piece of equipment

As always with Dolphin, delivery was fast and realiable, and the information provided about the Pod on the website was extremely accurate, so I\'ll try not to repeat it all here!
Already being an owner of a Line 6 Variax guitar, it of course made sense to combine with a Pod, and the sounds this one can produce are incredible; from the subtle and understated tweaking effects, to full-on synth, heavy distortion and so on. The user menus are fairly intuitive, although at least skimming through the \"Pilot\'s Handbook\" once or twice would be recommended.
As I mostly use a fairly low-power, low-spec Marshall amp, I was slightly dubious to how the Pod would sound through it - these doubts were instantly put to rest as the outputs options of the pedalboard easily compensated; through a portable PA system it sounds amazing, and the possibilities when combined with a Digital Audio Workstation are almost infinite.
Overall, the kit is very good in all aspects, and both beginner and professional musician aquaintances have been extremely impressed with it.

Line 6 POD X3 Live

Well what can I say, it\'s okay but not amazing. Tricky to get set up to your own sounds and all sound a bit the same. If your into heavy metal it\'s great but the controls are a bit of a mess should be more intuitive. Line 6 need to work on the usability of the product. Good points, you can play at night through headphones and get a driving sound. Would I buy again mmm... not sure.

I received this stuff 2 wks ago, and I play with this every day I can.
Incredible equipment! there are a lot of configuration to explore and to play. Mybe too much for only one life.
Only one lack : the external power supply has poor quality respect the quality of th eproduct.
