 A guitar that screams with its EMG pick-ups.

The Dean Razorback 255 electric guitar features a Mahogany body. The Razorback electric guitar also features a mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. Grover tuners and a locking tremolo keep you in perfect tune for extended dive-bombing. 24 fast frets facilitate wicked, shredding solos and lightning quick chord changes. 3-way switching, volume and tone control keep things simple, yet tonally flexible, and with tons of presence.

Two powerful EMG humbuckers: the EMG-81 in the bridge position provides higher output for overdriven, screaming leads with tons of sustain, and the EMG-85 in the neck position gives a beefy low end and fatter top, great for rhythm and blues.

Being a Dean guitar, the Razorback 255 looks as good as it sounds. Dangerous-looking edges are highlighted by color-contrast bevels on the body and outlines on the famous Dean headstock.

Dimebag Darrell Abbott's return to Dean Guitars was one of the many things cut far too short by his death near the end of 2004, but his many drawings and ideas have kept the guitar makers at Dean inspired. These Razorback 255s were some of Darrell's final designs, and we're sure they will inspire you, too.

wow. when i picked it up in store i was blow away, i had played other guitars (that were more expensive) like SG\'s and fender strats (the proper ones) but this was totally different. ive had mine for 5 months now and not one thing has gone wrong with it. the build quality is outstanding from an import guitar and i\'ve knocked it a few times and not one scratch has appeared.

Absolutly amazing metal axe right here.

It is the best guitar i have ever played, it plays amazingly.
The EMG 81 & 85 are so sweet, they have suck a great brutal tone to them and by a flick of a switch you then have the cleanest tone ever. The pick-ups make the tone so crisp and sound. And the floyd rose is stunning aswell, never drops a note but has so much flexibility and range in it.

A dream for a metal player.
