Quiklok WS-550

I wanted a stand that would comfortably and robustly hold a large 88 key workstation, be expandable, but most importantly have plenty of clearance underneath for legs, pedals, rack units, etc. I found what I was looking for in the Quiklok WS-550.

The WS-550 is an innovative design, and will fold down into a flat T shape for transportation. When it's up and in position, it's pretty solid. I wouldn't say that it's the most solid stand out there - there's a very small amount of wobble on a carpeted floor - but it's certainly better than either the single or double braced X stands I had before it.

I've got the WS550 expanded with an accessory bar that allows the addition of a fully adjustable second tier. There are many other expansion options available; and with all the options it can even be used as the basis for a full project studio workstation - speaker stands, computer monitors, etc.

I would recommend this stand particularly for those that a heavy full size keyboard and want a solid stand that folds down small.
