The Quicklok A300 is fairly decent well made stand. It does a good job in supporting my quite heavy condenser mic and could probably handle supportng an even heavier one. Best Points: I found the cable clips very useful as they save a lot of time not having to untangle intertwined XLR leads. Well made and can be confidently collapsed for easy storage and portability. Looks good; very sleek. Bad points: My only quibble about the Quicklok is that it would be better if the legs on the tripod base were a bit longer for some extra support. All that said though I have worked with much better mic stands but I've also worked with much worse and for the price think the Quicklok represents good value for money.
