With a half inch capsule, this USB only mic offers unprecedented recording quality in its price range due to the proprietary chip and software set, developed by sE, which deals with both noise and software drivers.

Like the professional standard USB2200a, the chip set helps with transforming the 5v power supplied via the USB cable to power the capsule, by first removing ‘noise’ and undesirable spikes from the current.

This ‘noise’ would normally be amplified, which is why USB mics have, until now, been largely too noisy to use in a professional environment.

This mic is also truly plug-in-and play.

I am a song writer and producer.
Ive used many mirophones, and for value, this microphone has proven that its fantastic for its price.
When recording it is extreamley clear.
The only downside to this microphone is that I have found that I cannot record from cubase 4 (Even if this is possible, Iv'e had this microphone for 2-3 months now and am still trying to link it up) - Not quite 'Plug-In And Play' As it says...
Although, as i said earlier, this microphone would be a great investment for any musician, either at a begginer or profetional level.
