Lionheart represents everything Laney have learned through forty years of Laney tube heritage, distilled into a single amplifier range. Designed to deliver the ultimate tone of a tube being pushed hard - warm and expressive, at an output level which can be used in everyday environments.

This amp provides the evocative, classic tones of hot tubes pushed hard, but at a volume level your neighbours can live with! Featuring the purest of designs - 'single-ended' Class A output achieved with a single EL84, driven from 3x 12AX7 preamp tubes. The L5T-112 also features gold plated PCB's and jack sockets.

Sealed gold contact relays are used in all signal paths for minimum sound coloration, and the amp comes fitted with the renowned "Type 4" large spring line reverb for the classic guitar reverb sound. Each L5T-112 features a hand stamped 'build number' in the order they come off the Laney production line, and comes with a custom made 'Lionheart' dust cover.

Laney Lionheart L5T-112 Demo

I\'ve had this amp for a few months now and i\'m completely blown away by the quality of the tones on offer!

It may not be the cheapest 5 watt tube amp on the market but it\'s definately worth every penny...

... Buy one! Your guitar, your pedals, your ears and your audience deserve it!!!

I\'ve posted my demo of the amp on here. I hope it gives you a good idea of the just how good this amp is!

A great, great amp...

After comparing many low wattage valve amps over the past few months, I eventually opted for the Laney Lionheart L5T-112, and I couldn\'t be happier with my decision.

Some people may shirk at the seemingly high price for a 5w amp, but don\'t let it put you off. Ignore the wattage, what you have hear is an amazingly versatile amp, equally at home in the bedroom (great sounds at low volumes), the studio (silent, and offers a wide array of clean and overdriven tones) or the stage (suprisingly loud, I reckon on a par with my DSL401).

Throw in the fact that it\'s two channel (footswitchable, and both sound great), has reverb (again footswitchable), a high quality 12\" Celestion, an effects loop and a very high level of fit and finish and I think its just about the best value amp on the market today.

I\'ve tried virtually every amp in this category, and this stood head and shoulders above them, I could not be happier with my choice.

Also, I found the staff at Dolphin to be very helpful before during and after the sale. I will certainly be using them again in the future.

LANEY LIONHEART L5T

Bought just over a week ago and when i switched on and tried it was not impressed BUT a little tinkering and adjusting made me think again. It\'s all there, a lot more than i was expecting from a 5 watt amp. One thing I have noticed is the more use it gets the better it gets. So if you decided to buy one (which every guitarist should for the price) play around with the adjustments and give it time you will not be disapointed MADE IN UK too and does it show.

I can't think of any single thing that could improve this amp. "Value for money" doesn't even touch the surface. Smooth, creamy tones to searing rock sustain is all there at the turn of a chickens' head.

Puts the pride back into being British.
