This is the go-to pedal for superior dynamic control, glossy overtones and all-tube overdrive. Phenomenally easy to tweak, Tube Factor juices up your every sound. It grants you greater tonal control over every note you play, adds lots of presence and punch, and can even spare you costly amp modifications.

Hughes & Kettner have added a unique Voicing knob. This hip feature lets you shape tonal characteristics to dial in the trademark sound of your favorite amp. Simply plug Tube Factor into your amp’s front end and enjoy instant tonal bliss!

What’s the difference between the Tube Factor and the Tubeman II?

Developed as a special front-end unit, the Tube Factor essentially retains the electric guitar’s natural frequency response, but enriches the signal with added harmonics. This spices up solid-state amps with a sprinkling of tube flavor. The Tube Factor is also an instant boosting / customizing job for tube amps. Whereas once you had to take your tube amp to a tuning guru to get more gain and channels, now all you have to is plug in the Tube Factor.

Tubefactor

This is a first class bit of kit, it is solidly made, looks fantastic on stage and gets the job done. I use it with a hand built Torres 50w Royale valve amp which is basically a single channel clean amp that I bought to mainly play Jazz. With the Tubefactor I now have a three channel amp!! Using the bypass I get the amp as I've set it up, hitting the on switch and factor one I can set it up from mild fatness to crunch, with factor two all manner of lead sounds from creamy lead to outright screaming hooliganism are easily within reach. Unlike most trannie stomp boxes the Tubefactor does not change the sound of the amp, does not add noise (unless you are clumsy with the output level) gives that beautiful valve tone and the switching is totally noiseless. I can't recommend this highly enough. Steve
