One of the most beloved echo effects ever made, the Roland RE-201 Space Echo (used by rock groups such as Pink Floyd, The Police, Radiohead and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, as well as many Reggae/ Dub artists such as Lee Perry), has been reborn as the BOSS RE-20 Twin Pedal! Roland and BOSS have recreated every sonic detail and nuance of the original...but for a fraction of what the vintage effect unit is sold for nowadays!

UPDATE: You can now hear some Boss RE-20 sound samples! Yes! It sounds good...people who've tried the pedal and know the original say it sounds "99.99%" like the original Roland Space Echo, the main difference being that it has less buzzing.

I love this pedal

This is a super pedal. The sound is clear and the selection of echo & reverb effects give enough flexibility for a variety of styles of playing.

Many, many years ago I had a Watkins Copycat which I really liked for it\'s effects but which was fantastically unreliable and noisy. This is that effect done right using digital technology.

I use it with electric violin and it\'s a good fit for that instrument, but I\'m sure it\'s equally fine on guitars etc.

The one thing I would have really liked would have been some separation of reverb & echo without having to bend down and turn the dial, but I suppose that would have needed three pedals rather than two!
