The Paul Allender SE is a 24 fret guitar with gold hardware and specially wound pickups that were designed for Paul. Paul s PRS guitars can be heard on Cradle of Filth s new album, Godspeed on the Devil s Thunder. Looks and sounds amazing!

PRS SE Paul Allender...stylish guitar!

Paul started playing PRS when he left Cradle of Filth and started the band, the Blood Divine. He purchased a second hand CE-24 and used it exclusively throughout the band s days and brought it with him when he rejoined Cradle of Filth at the turn of the century. He then sent a design of his own to PRS.

It featured a purple and black sunburst on a curly maple top and replaced the traditional bird inlays with bats for a darker but still classic PRS look. PRS built the guitar for Allender as a private stock model, but it eventually made it to production as an SE model.

This is quite simply put the absolute best guitar you will ever find for under $1000. The tone and playability are extraordinary and I think it looks amazing. I have several guitars that are much more expensive than this one but I have to say that this is the most enjoyable and best sounding guitar I have ever played. It plays like a vintage SG but with better tone and stays in tune. You cannot go wrong purchasing this guitar. Also, the workmanship is flawless.

This guitar is sex on legs! You will get underwear thrown at you! It took me a few days to get used to the Gibson style neck, but once that happened, wow, from swampy blues to shreddy metal, power & warmth through all the settings & harmonic squeals in all the right places. The only fault I can find is the whammy bar feels like a bent coathanger more suited as an aerial on a 'C' reg Vauxhall Nova. Nevertheless, abuse the whammy & this baby stays tuned & says "is that all you've got?" I think I've sold my soul for the Purple Burst & bat inlays, she says "Play me" & I have to obey!!!
