Behringer ULTRA-G GI100
I was very impressed with this strong aluminium DI box. It's primary function is to take a line out unbalanced cable and allow it to connect to the mic input on a mixer via a balanced XLR cable. It features a decent switchable 4x12" cab simulator to allow a clean, mic free simulation of the amplifier interacting with the cabinet. The build quality seems high - as do the components inside.
It may also be used, not on the line out - but onto the loudspeaker output. I use it like this on the loudspeaker outputs of a valve guitar amplifier. (On the other output I have a 16Ohm resistor matrix to 'soak' the power load of the amplifier and protect the output transformer of a valve amp. This is essential.)
I use both the 20dB cuts to reduce by 40dB - this is very versatile. As is powering the unit using phantom power from the recording desk.
All in all a very reliable and solid unit.
