The DI4000 gives you four first-class DI channels in one rack space. With two inputs (XLR and 1 /4 " TRS), a balanced output (XLR) and a 1 /4 " link output per channel, up to 40 dB of switchable input attenuation and up to 20 dB of gain, the DI4000 is equipped to deal with virtually any input signal, while our OT-1 output transformers ensure clean, powerful output.

At this price the unit looks great. However the isolation between the power supply and the audio circuits is very poor. Channel 4 next to the power socket suffers significant 50Hz Hum and if you put another power supply anywhere near (like the Soundcraft psu for their little desk) then the hum is louder than the signal.

Basically 3 good channels and one you must accept hum on.... for the price of three cheap 1 channel DI boxes. Hmmmmmm

Absolutely awseome. Do not be put off by the ridiculously low price. This an incredible flexible piece of kit. Absolutely silent running. Have run Yamaha APX, Ovations, and takamine through this. Even plugged my strat straight in and into the desk. Everything worked brilliantly.

Only let down is XLR inputs wouldhave been nice, but since this is primarily for guitar work work I can live without it.

This is also the first DI box I have had where I haven't need to use the earth lift.

I have added some more behringer kit to my wish list.
