It easily delivers massive distortion and gain with heavy lows for playing Nu Metal, Grind Core, Industrial, Hard Core, or any genre that requires crushing sound. The ML-2’s ferocious and biting tone will complement and cut through any blast beats your rhythm section can create.
It features an ultra-heavy distortion with sharp-edged attack for crushing metal riffs
LOW control for heavy, low frequency sound for 7-string guitar or dropped tuning
HIGH control for screaming, metallic tone
Road-tough BOSS metal construction.
The Boss ML-2 Metal Core has a very crushing metallic distortion and a very long sustain.
I bought my ML-2 Metal Core in late November 2008 and I have been stomping on it to kick start my heavy metal rhythm playing ever since. The Boss ML-2 Metal Core is a massive part of my metal rhythm sound and will never let me down. This pedal is a definite must have for any metal, hard-rock, grindcore guitarist. This pedal is so great I use it all the time when I\'m playing along to Metallica, King Diamond or Mercyful Fate. If there\'s any metal guitarist out there looking for the next big metal sound, then this is the pedal for you. Shredders, do yourself a favour and buy this pedal, you will not regret it. This is the ultimate BOY of heavy metal distortion pedals ever!

The Boss ML-2 Metal Core starts where the MT-2 Metal zone stopt.

ML-2 is a new stomp box of Boss. Wich can handle any heavy metal sound you wish for. The attack delivers a Briljant fast-Ryhtem sound, aswell a long sustain.

The four control knobs: Level, Low, High and Distortion. Gives you the oppitunity to add some nice smooth low. And some high for the more screaming guitarist. The ML-2 is perfectly shaped for a 7 string guitar because of the Low freqeuncy response.

The ML-2 is with no rivel one of the best distortion pedals out there. And let Digitech Metal master and Death metal far beyond. This new metal stop box has more depth and punch in low, and more pure Hi-gain. Where the MT-2 Metal zone was only in high powerfull. This new metal pedal wil blow your mind with it’s amazing soundspectrum. For if you play Pantera, Children Of Bodem, Korn or Metalica. This new product of Boss containts any sound you go for.

It’s a must have for in live situations. Aswell as in the studio. Even with low volume your able to have lot’s of gain. And when your volume is very loud this stomp box has still enough headroom over. Combining this ML-2 Metal Core with 2 humbuckers and your amp, your sure that your sound is as strong as a tornado!
