The Squier SE Special Strat Electric Guitar combines 3 single-coils and 5-way switching for great tonal range. It also has a solid agathis body with shell pickguard, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position inlays, die-cast chrome tuners, and standard fulcrum tremolo bridge.

The Squier SP-10 amp controls include volume, treble, bass, and an overdrive on/off button that delivers tube-like tone. A headphone output allows silent practice. 10 watts drive a 6" speaker and the amp has a tough textured vinyl exterior.

My new Strat!

After deciding to learn to play guitar I set about choosing my first axe. Upon asking a few of my friends who play guitar one of them suggested I take a look here on Dolphin Music as he told me that he ordered alot of his guitars from the site and the ones he has recived have arrived in good time and are in prestine condition and even better at a good price!

I have to say he was not wrong! I was looking through the starter packs and stumbled across the Squier Start Playing SE Special Strat Pack (Black) And it does everything it says on the tin, you get a fender gig bag, fender guitar stand, 3x medium fender picks a fender SE-10 amp and a starter DVD and of course your guitar!

Now the guitar I cannot fault in any way... The finish on it is amazing all the joins are tight and seamless, also the finish on the body work of the guitar is beautiful! The black strat has a pearl stratch plate and it appears the good people at Dolphin Music even took the time to set the guitar up for me! The amp is more than enough in quality for me to learn on it has everything you'd expect on it tone and bass wise and it also has a overdrive switch if you want to make your sound more heavy!

All in all everything I recived in this starter pack including the starter DVD which teaches you some basics was of great quality! I would recommend this pack to anyone just starting out playing as it's everything you need to start and more! And at £125.00 it's not alot of money for the gear you get and it's overall quality!

I will most definatly be using Dolphin Music for all of my future guitar purchases!
