Essentially an expanded version of the UB1204-PRO. It has all the same features as found in the UB1204-PRO, plus an integrated 24-bit digital stereo FX processor with 99 great-sounding VIRTUALIZER presets. There are also solo and PFL functions on all channels as well as a pre/post fader switchable aux send for monitoring/FX applications.

Fantasic Value For Money

Straight out of the box, with its full, printed manual, the Behringer mixer appears like money well spent. The mixer offers excactly what is promised on the specification sheet, and has many inputs and outputs with the most popular audio connections for seamless incorporation with the modern studio. It features 4 mono XLR/1/4'' Jack channels which have impressive built-in pre-amps to rival more expensive mixers, although noise can start to colour the signal past the three quarter turn on the knob. The controls (the knobs and faders) all feel sturdy and have smooth, noise free movement. As far as connectivity goes, the mixer features XLR and 1/4 outs, and the Alt 3/4 bus extends the connectivity and is an invaluable feature. As for the built in FX, this is the only real dissapointment with the UB1024FX. As more fx is sent to the auxiliary, more noise is introduced, and means the effects are useless at 100% wet settings. Also, the inclusion of more effects (as opposed to so many reverb and delay settings) would have been nice.
Overall though, this mixer is excellent value for money and if perfect for the engneer or musician on a budget, or one who simply needs a sturdy mixer for live or studio use.
