I have used Ortofon Scratch for years at events all over the place. They provide reliable sound but are rugged enough to take everything they have thrown at them in a club environment. They are also good enough for sampling because the output is constant and quite well-balanced. Not sure about the pink colour but apart from that thoroughly recommended.
