Boss BCB-60
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have been really impressed. I had been looking at pedal boards for a while as I was getting fed up dragging my pedals and power brick around. One of the things I have always liked about Boss products is their durability and because of this I was a bit worried about the plastic construction of this unit. However when I received it - next day delivery from Dolphin, excellent - I was relly pleased with what I found. Yes the latching system is a bit suspect but as long as you take care I can\'t see them failing overnight. You can also only get a maximum of 6 pedals inside the case but that is made very clear from the outset so if you are needing to run more look elsewhere. It does accommodate pedals from other manufacturers - you just have to cut the foam padding to size. I even managed to get non-Boss pedals into the areas specifically cut for Boss pedals by using off-cuts to pad out the spaces left by some extra cutting (I have fit a tubescreamer, mxr-90 & tech-21 pedal into this unit). You could even replace all of the pads with your own customised ones - I reckon a couple of mouse-mats would do the job! - to get a complete non-Boss set-up. As I use a TU-2 tuner pedal I have one spare power input and I run a wah through this and have it sitting outside the pedal board - not a problem. At the other end I have a volume pedal sitting off the board - so it is possible to have a tidy looking set up of more than just the 6 pedals it suggests. Overall I think this is a great product - especially at this price. I drop a star off purely because it would have been nice to see a couple of metal parts incorporated - especially on the latching system.

I really don\'t have much to say about it besides the fact that it\'s VERY easy-to-use and very versatile. I only put in my Cry Baby Wah, a BBE Boosta Grande and a Boss Blues Driver and it fits me great! I know it won\'t be as good when you own more than 5 pedals, but life\'s about making choices, isn\'t it? ;)
Only thing.. You can\'t put in a Wah-pedal AND a volume pedal at the same time. But again, life\'s about making choices! ;)
Boss BCB Pedal Board
Firstly i only bought this pedal board because 1. Batteries are a nightmare and
2. You look like a pillok turning up to play a gig with you pedals in a sainsburys carrier bag
so when ordered the BCB i didnt expect anything amazing as it was on a bit of a budget, I was however pleasantly supprised. OK so it might not be made of the best materials but this board aint half bad for the money especially if your using Boss/Marshall compact pedals and only gig once or twice a week. I use an Boss NS-2 MD-2 CU-2 Marshall GV-2 and a Onerr GV-1 and they all fit perfectly. All except the Onerr had a precut piece of foam that you can just push out (no cutting nessesary) and you get a separate piece to adjust to any pedal size nessesary. I imagin if you have quite bulky pedals you could experience problems fittting them and also if a lot of your pedals arent Boss you would also have to cut some of the foam that is pre cut which lets face it isnt ideal, but if as i do you have the Boss/ Marshall pedals this things ideal. Also supplied is plenty of patch cables (variety of sizes) and a power supply. only snag with these is the power supply is quite short so you may have to do as ive done and buy an extension lead which would be all of about a fiver. The only other black mark on this board is the clips that secure the box when its shut cause you\'ll have to be carefull with them, they are quite fragile. Thats it though, i cant think of anything else bad. For the tiny amount of £75 plus postage you get a desent board, power supply and good quality patch cables. You can always pick holes in equipment (god knows us musicians love to) but i think for me this board is great so if your like me an do the local pubs clubs etc give it a look. Hope this review helps. cheers
