This spruce top acoustic bass has a punchy acoustic sound and an incredible "plugged-in" acoustic/electric sound thanks to its Fishman Sonicore pickup and AEQ-SS Shape Shifter EQ. This EQ lets you spend the bare minimum time tweaking controls and the maximum time playing! Specifically designed to work with the Fishman Sonicore, the 3-band AEQ-SS features a tone shaper - a very powerful, loudness-type control, a phase reverse switch and a huge amount of headroom so you get more volume before distortion. Other features include an easy-access battery compartment, and die-cast tuning.

Sharing the same body style with the AEL series guitars, the fat tone of the Ibanez AEB10EDVS will endear to any bass player.

With a preamp featuring a built-in tuner, and a thick resonant body, the Ibanez AEB10EDVS is the perfect stage bass for your next unplugged gig.

Ibanez AEB10E darkviolin sunburst

I recieved my Ibanez AEB10E Dark Sunburst in superfast time from Dolphin Musiic, well Packaged and ready to go straight out of the box. Supprisingly the guitar was in tune.

I checked the tuner and was happy to find that it worked remarkably well. More importantly a battery was fitted, as so many products these days arrive with the statement \'batteries not included\'.

The bass sits well, its ballanced and comfortable to use. The 32inch scale was the reason I bought the Ibanez AEB10E and I was not disapointed to find that I could easilly handle the fingerboard from end to end.

Overall the sound is pleasent and warm. I tested the bass along side a Takamine LTD eddition acoustic guitar and the bass gave a superb compliment.

To be honest the Ibanez AEB10E Dark Violin Sunburst is a very attractive looking instrument. In my opinion it exudes much better quality than that of it\'s other competitors within the price range.

At the end of the day I am happy with what is a reasonably inexpensive instrument. It looks, sounds and plays very well. All important factors for us musicians.
