Line 6 Bass Floor Pod
Well, ive only had it a few days, and it has already given my bass fantastic tone. Before, my stingray, however awesome, was always a bit hard to get an amazing sound out of, now i get this pedal for £135 and instantly my sound livens up.
It is easy to get a good sound out of this, because it has several amp models which contribute to its sound, then i was figuring to get a Qtron, and i find out this basically has one in it.
This is the best pedal effects board thingy i have got. I spent about an hour messing round with it to get a few awesome sounds detailed into the 64 spaces.
And just going through them one by one, i get a flood of creativeness from each and every effect it has to offer.
The only reason i didnt give it 10 is because the pedal is a bit too sensitive for the wah effect. Could be i just need to adjust it, but ah well.
If you are looking for a HUGE range of sounds for a BASS, (not a renamed guiutar box..), then get this, it is way worth the money.
Wooooooooooooooooo
Line6 Floor Pod
Initially I wanted a nice muti effects pedal that did'nt take a degree to work out and get a nice sound from. After reading reviews and testing the product I decided that the line6 floor pod was my best option. How wrong I was. This thing is complicated to figure out, why cant they make things simple, you find a tone you like then want to start adjusting the EQ, but you cant, because you've got to hold down 2 buttons, then twiddle other knobs with second funtions just to alter the mid range. Whilst your doing that the thing starts timing you so just after you figure it out it resets itself back to origional functions. My god its anoying. But after a lot of faffing about some good sounds can be found, Just make sure you spend a few days programming them before a gig cos otherwise you'll be holding the entire stage up whilst you try and find that perfect tone. In hein sight I would have spent a bit more money and got something a bit more versitile. The presets are too over the top and will never be used in standard playing and the amp models are very badly programmed meaning you have to spend too much time editing presets which are advertised as 'gig ready'. If your thinking of buying the item please test it first to see if it really is what you want.
