Since 1987, the Ibanez RG has been the weapon of choice for visiting sonic mayhem on the metal masses. With the right choice of pickups, flat and fast necks and double-locking trems, the RG has divebombed and crunched its way to classic status. To the RG's lethal combination of featuress, RG Prestige models add comfortable, rounded feel of Prestige neck finishing, collector's item looks and top-shelf electronics and hardware.

I bought this Guitar as a 21st birthday present for myself
This guitar is a joy to own, sounds like it should cost 3 times more than it does
Tone and playability is awsome
Thought id point out a few things that bother me tho
It is heavy which can b a pest after standing with it for a while
And if u dont need a floyd rose be aware that it is a mission to settle the tuning when changing strings
I play mine a step down on heavy strings and it is brutal (in a good way)
But bear in mind once tuned just lock it ont the bolts and forget about it
All in, a great guitar and defenatley worth it especially if playing is more than just a hobby
:)

A must buy for metal

Okay, I always thought the guitar looked like a dream on the internet...and when I saw it in my music store I almost fainted, It\'s just stunning!
Anyway, for £300 I thought it wouldn\'t sound half bad. Turns out I was wrong...it sounds amazing! Harmonics are thick, chording is clear, both low and high ends are brilliant.
If this guitar is in your budget and you play metal/punk, or anything really (it sounded okay for jazz but I\'d prefer a tele or a LP any day) then this is definitely your guitar.

F*CK! THIS GUITAR IS THE BUSINESS!!! =D. i had my eye on that for litteralllly months, and oh...my.....god.... it's a physical orgasm. lol.

it aint disappointed me. and the tone it has........*melts* it's soo nice. =].

all in all, if your lookin for an Ibanez, GET THIS GUITAR!! that's all i have to say!!. it's a seriously nice guitar to play, when hittin a harmonic "squeal"... oooooooooooooooooooo it's good. lol. the neck has a seriously nice, smooth feel to it, and is shapen, TOO PERFECTION!.

Next stop.....JEM7V =].
