Gretsch G5125
This is a great guitar. The Gretsch name implies quality, and this guitar gives great quality at a realy affordable price. The DeArmand pickups are US models that give that woody, organic sound and even though single coil are good for getting a nice full- on fat gain sound. The guitar is basically sound in design and with a few tweaks gives you the kind of guitar that you would pay £1500 and up for. You will need to replace the machine heads with something like locking Grovers (that\'s what I did) because the Bigsby knocks the standard Kluson tuners way out (big strings help too) and then no tuning problems... All in all the guitar is very playable, light, looks beautiful, and with a good set-up is truly great for the price. Affordable Gretsch, awesome.
