Update to my review
I'd just like to say that I have fixed the guitar now, it cost me £5 and took half hour. It was not that major in the end.
I am happy with the instrument, and have decided to keep it.
It does have a nice sound now that the woods have setlled in, and sounds gorgeous recorded.
Apologies if I have misled those wishing to buy this instrument.
I still think it is best to go to the shop and try
it first before buying if you can, with acoustic guitars even the same make and model will sound and feel different.

Not a bad guitar, nice tone but a bit quiet in volume and warmth.
They could have used a better sounding wood for the back and sides, it has a ultra thin veneer of indian rosewood which is only for looks and the rest is laminated with some mystery wood.
I think it doesn't compare to another famous spanish company's guitars at that price range.
This other famous company has better budget range of guitars.
I'm looking to sell my 1 and get one of those other guitars. But i need to have the tuning peg fixed because it has broken due to the tuning rod being too stiff in the slot.
Better quality control wouldnt have hurt them.
I suppose you get what u pay for.
Otherwise a nice guitar for the money.

Bump up the rating...
Not sure what happened with my rating in my last posting... I would rate this guitar 10/10 for quality and price, especially at the price for sale on this site.
A pleasure to play...
I bought this guitar as my very first guitar about 10 months ago. I spent a little more than I originally planned for my first guitar but the quality difference between the £130 guitar I was looking at, at the time (for aesthetic reasons) and this guitar is astounding.
This really is a gem for the price and its quality construction and quality of sound will serve me for some time to come - I havent outgrown the sound or the feel of this gem of an instrument yet and I dont see it in the forseeable future either - Im sure I would be looking to replace the cheaper guitar by now if i had gone down that route.
My first lessons were in a group of about 12 other beginners and everyone was impressed with the sound, both the tone and the loudness of this guitar compared to some of the more expensive guitars in the group... and I have only just in the past few months started to get some real volume and quality out of my playing - Im sure the best is still to come!
This really is an excellent guitar to learn from the ground up or if your budget is limited, I couldnt find anything in this price range up to £240 that had anywhere near the sound quality of this guitar and its a real pleassure to play too. The strings tention is perfect!
Im sure sometime in the future when I am an international superstar (yea right!) I will be looking for a swankier guitar, however this baby is staying right with me where it belongs! I miss the little cherub when I am at work and even more when I am away from home for a few days. I cant imagine being without my pride and joy!
Im so glad I didnt go down the road of the big names in beginner guitars and pursued the quality of Manuel Rodriguez. Im not much for brand loyalty, I usually go where the best deal or quality is at the time, but I will def be revisiting Manuel Rodriguez again if and when I look for my next guitar... Vive Rodriguez!
