The potential of this device is amazing. There were a lot of reviews making me worry about the practicality of this pedal. But when i did blow my student loan on it i wasn't disappointed. My Halls of residence has been wobbling ever since. haha.

sound is incredibly crisp. some waveforms do have a problem with playing too many notes too quickly, but what can you expect with so much effect on the sound. Some waveforms demand a different play style. However saying that it is all down to your imagination. Im in a student experimental/electronic/punk band and from playing pendulum songs to Franz Ferdinand this pedal has not effected the mix of the songs. It has rather improved the sound coming from my bass. Some waveforms are basic square synths and such effects allow a distinctive fuzz or distortion sound. 2 of the waveforms offer a envelope filter simulating a wobble effect, which can be controlled through an expression pedal.

For me however, the best thing about this is the left nob on the device which allows control of how much of the effect and raw bass sound is put into the mix. this means you can have control on how much of the low end you want to sacrifice for some squelchy synths and effects. some effects can be put in lightly or heavy changing the sonic focus of the song.

Its fantastic and worth a play. Yet being the student i am i cant give it a 10/10 due to price. ... that and the fact i had to sacrifice going out and full meals for about two months
