Dean Razorback

It took a while to get a hold of one, but my dean Razorback two-tone silver blast finally arrived yesterday. Even the packaging is of the standard that Dean strive for. A gorgeous hard case bearing the Dean logo was inside, and when I opened it I've never seen a nicer guitar! The Razorback is perfectly weighted, and has the most comfortable and fastest neck that I've ever played. The Floyd Rose is great, and in the right hands this guitar can emit some crazy screams and squeals. The pickups, especially the Duncan, are a great addition, and just perfectly mimic Dime's distinctive sound. The clean channel is surprisingly jazzy, and has a lovely warm tone. I will definitely just be buying dean guitars in the future, this is just the beginning. And I was told yesterday that it "possibly looks TOO metal"!

Taming the Beast

What does a guitarist look for in a guitar? Sweet tone, amazing playability and drop dead gorgeus looks? I've had this guitar only for a week and... WOW! It has it all. What i will start off by saying is yes this is a metal guitar but its also so much more! Flicl the pickup selector switch to gain access to that beefy neck pick up and voila... a beautiful jazz like tone is released... stick some distortion on it and theres that perfect shred tone we've been searching for. Time for the beast... the Seymour Duncan Dimbucker - It's a beast... i team it up with the EH Metal Muff and phew... pinched harmonics we'll blister peoples ears and its so beefy. Sharp highs, Clear lows... Perfection! If you like deans or even if you've never played one before buy this. For some its price tag and looks may scare but this is great fun and i haven't even mentioned the fact it's designed by Dimebag Darrell R.I.P!! Enjoy
