The Ampeg BA210SP combines all the features and functionality of our popular BA210 with a high-quality internal DSP effects section. And this isn’t a collection of garden-variety guitar effects cobbled together with bass as an afterthought.

The BA210SP features 16 digital samples of classic analog bass effects and includes a two-button footswitch for easy access. Optimized by top bass players specifically for the BA210SP, effects include:

Most of the effects actually suck - really not useable, in case one wonders - the SVT setting is the one I use and purchased the amp for - it really is provides a good drive. I have had the BA210 SP which worked fine for awhile - 10 months, bought new - then it started farting out at a practice - and I am not even running this at 1/2 power. Flipped it on the next day - no problem - but at hour 2 into a gig it died. Sounds like a heat issue - under warranty - been in shop 2 weeks - and nothing appears to be wrong according to the tech. Very nervous about relying on this amp now. Have not got amp back from shop - as said - very nervous about playing out now - so I will be dragging two amps to gigs - which sucks and not why I bought a "quality" amp. I had old Ampeg gear that just would not quit - to compare, you cannot - I'd rate, especially after what I paid for the BA210 - this as a bad experience.
