Also included with the ber Metal is a built-in selectable noise gate, and scoop control for massive tonal contouring.

Line 6 have developed some hefty tones in their modelling and amp ranges, the Uber Metal condenses this sound into a small package. Just stomp down and kick your tone into high gear.

Controls

    Model Switch - Give this a flick to reconfigure the destructive power of Über Metal.

  • Metal - creates screaming distortion, from heavy grind to molten metal! Bow down, infidels.
  • Pulverize - gives you a distortion similar to a high-gain tube amp. Mmmm, it's warm and meaty!
  • Insane - has more skin-peeling gain and sustain than anything else available. For the inner Samurai-shredder in all of us.

    Other

  • Level - This sets the output level. Higher levels will hit the amp or effect fed by the Über Metal will more signal level, giving your more volume.
  • Mid & Scoop - Mid chooses a frequency from 250Hz to 4kHz. Scoop then removes sound at this frequency, with maximum scoop at the fully clockwise setting. Turn it fully counter-clockwise for a slight mid boost.
  • Drive - This controls the amount of distortion created within your Über Metal. Especially when you've got it set high, you may need to use the Gate to tame unwanted noise.
  • Bass & Treble - Bass and Treble are controls for your low and high frequencies.

Uber metal ROCK'S!

The Uber Metal has the largest variation of blues, rock, metal, heavy, nu metal, and grunge sounds I've ever heard in one pedal..
It is so versitle, that I can find the perfect sound for almost all the music I play... There are three main settings (metal, pulverize and insane) which in affect give you three pedals! Each main setting can be adjusted for Drive, Volume and EQ..
The EQ is the strongest card on the Uber Metal..
The mid scoop lets you decide where to enhance or lower the mid-range, and the effect is awsome..
It lets you move from violin-smooth fuzz, to gut-wrenching, screaming lead on all three main settings!
I sometimes wish I could lift the bass just a little more, but it's hardly worth mentioning..
The gate is also wonderfull... It only has two settings but they do the job! Settting one removes most of the unwanted noise without effecting the sustain, and setting two is a hard gate which is perfect for hand muted playing and agressive pumping.. The real problem with this pedal is that I only have one, and don't have time to reset the sound between songs... I wish it had four footswitches... Ahh, well.. It's an awsome pedal at an awsome price..

best metal pedal so far have try somany pedals i only use pedal if tube amp doesn't have lots of gain or not a hi gain tube amp i just got a epiphone socal and it is not a hi gain amp it sounds good with an od but not what i am looking for i purchase uber metal and there it was best sound ever i have been playing for over 20 yrs i am an active musician i play metalcore i plug this in on clean chanel all tube amp i don't need a dual recto or anythgin liek that any more i get the sound i wasa looking for so many years need to get the power cord with it battery won't last i never use any pedals with out power cord
