The Fender Jazzmaster was first introduced at the 1958 NAMM show, and slowly, but surely, became one ofthe most legendary instruments Fender ever made - first adopted by surf music acts, later by punks such as Television and Elvis Costello, and finally becoming one of the staples in alternative rock, used by bands such as Sonic Youth, Dinossaur Jr, Radiohead, My Bloody Valentine and many others.
A classic original design incorporating independent volume and tone controls, and the floating tremolo with tremolo lock adds to the Jazzmaster’s distinctive look and sound.
