'69 Thinline
I have had this guitar for roughly two years now. It has been an absolute workhorse of a guitar. The neck is great to play and the intonation spot on.
After purchasing some Fender Noisless pickups (the Mexican Tele pickups are good, but hum a lot) and fitting them you could be led to believe that this is a much more expensive guitar.
The neck pickup has that fantastic fender warmth, middle position has a snappy, funky sound and the bridge has more twang and bite than a comparable USA Standard Tele.
I use this guitar mainly for Blues and Soul music but have been known to pile on the gain for screaming leads and it responds fantastically.
Buy a strat to sound like everyone else, by a Tele to sound like yourself!
