The smiling, friendly face of Hello Kitty® herself forms the custom pickguard for our super-cool pink and black Hello Kitty® Stratocaster® guitars (they even made Newsweek magazine).

Features include an agathis body, C-shaped maple neck with 21-fret maple fingerboard, single humbucking bridge pickup, chrome hardware, single volume control (white knob on pink guitar; black knob on black guitar), dot position inlays (pink on pink guitar; black on black guitar), script Hello Kitty® logo on back of pink guitar, collage Hello Kitty® logo on back of black guitar, ’60s-style large headstock and engraved Squier neck plate. Squier Mini Fender

My little girl wanted to learn to play the guitar so I looked at what there was on offer and asked a lot of questions as to what would be favourable for a 7 year old that has never played any instruments before. General opinion was an electric guitar not an acoustic as I had envisaged, mainly because they can get more sounds out of the electric so it helps to keep them interested.
The price was the best I could find on the internet and Dolphin have a solid history of customer satisfaction so the choice was easy. The service and follow-up service from Dolphin has been second to none and I couldn't be happier.
When the guitar arrived (next day delivery, thank you Dolphin), I was amazed at the quality and finish of this little gem, truly well put together and the attention to detail very evident. It is very easy to tune, I got a Q12E chromatic tuner, which not being musical myself is a big plus.
When my little girl arrived home and saw it she simply lit up. The strap was thrown over her shoulder and she was twangin away like a proper rocker. She now has a Fender 15G amp and the Fender "Getting started on electric guitar with Keith Wyatt" DVD, which is fantastic for beginners.
Thanks again Dolphin, will definately return when my lad can hold a pair drum sticks.
