The SA2200’s laminated maple body features a solid mahogany centre block to reduce feedback and enhance sustain, complementing the presence and attack of the maple. The 1 piece mahogany neck offers an ultra-comfortable profile and setup while the traditional set-neck construction ensures the tone offers the ideal balance between clarity and warmth. Fitted with a pair of custom-wound Yamaha Alnico V humbuckers, SA2200 features dual push/push coil taps allowing both humbuckers to be instantly switched to single coils, offering huge versatility and a massive tonal palette. The SA2200’s elite specification continues with gold hardware, ebony fretboard and Yamaha’s trademark stage-ready setup.
