Excellent addition to any laptop - plug it in, boot up and away you go with proper sound - and ASIO drivers (essential for a lot of music software). I've got it running with Vista and Sibelius, and there are no problems at all.

Very easy to install. I downloaded the updated drivers for Vista from the Roland website and installed them without any problems, which was a great relief as many Vista users will know about driver issues with many products. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality, as the standard sound processor of my laptop is dire. I have used this device to hook-up to my mobile audio system of three amps and ten speakers, totalling an output of 2400 watts RMS, with stunning results. If you need an interface to use while on the move, then just plug this in and hook-up to an amp and away you go, so easy to use.

The sound quality of this usb interface is excellent, I installed the device on windows xp sp2 with no troubles. great value for money.
