My room measures 12 foot by 14 foot, so pretty small, it's not acoustically treated or anything like that, and these are sitting about 3 foot apart on my desk.

I did not buy them to record, but to listen to music for pure pleasure so naturally a bit aprehensive. But i love music, especially when it's flat. I have over 8 pairs of headphones, all over £150 a pair, a £1200 set of hi-fi speakers so i feel i know what im talking about enough to make this review.

I could end my review here and just use the word 'Perfect', but i won't - i'll carry on for all of you who like reading review (And i know your out there !)

The speakers are heavy, with a very good quality construction. You can tell there German, but it's impossible to tell there constructed in China ! There is very little resonance no matter what the volume, and i have to yet have the limit light come on once clipping occurs.

If you've read any review telling you these arn't bassy enough, there wrong. They are most definitely wrong, they reach very low for the size of them, the bass has considerable impact, definition depth and texture without being overpowering (But, if you want, you could easily set them up to be overpowering) Also, i am a person that hates peircing highs and sibilance. Admitedly, if you put this on +2dB on high frequencies, it is peircing. But if put on 0 or -2, there sublime. Crystal clear but not painfull at all. These speakers have great soundstage aswell, behind, infront, left right, even above at one point !

They do all this without compromising detail either (since when did it rain in jack johnsons album, i never heard that before..) They're most certainly flat, but maintain a certain musicality about them which makes them absolutely brilliant. I could not reccomend this speaker more - and they go and slap a ridiculously low price tag on it for the performance, it makes it insaine NOT to buy these speakers.

DJ, crticial listener, studio worker or pure ausio enthusiast like me. These speakers will suit you all. Everything is how it should be, and then one step better.
