The DT 150 is a dynamic studio headphone for use in broadcasting, film and recording studios and other audio monitoring applications where comfort and performance are primary requirements. I have had a pair of these for some time and they are great. I have also used the now standard DT100s and these headphones draw from the same principles: Modular construction, high comfort and reliability and great isolation. These headphones have a frequency response from 5Hz to 30KHz (Human hearing is from 20Hz to 20KHz). When you put these on, you know that what you hear is what you recorded. They are designed to give an ultimately flat response across the frequency range. If you don't have a high class listing room with multi-thousand pound speakers, these are the best alternative.

After my AKG 240 Studio-Monitor got broken I opted for this BayerDynamic model ... after I compared many reviews on the web.
Well, I have to say that these one are much better than the AKG counterpart I had, expecially on the top ends and low ends ... less on the midranges. But I have to say that its just te first impression , just the first minute you wear them. In fact after very few minutes our ear starts to be much more sensitive to midranges and it sounds results perfectly balanced!!
Also the comfort of these narrow cushions are better than the AKG ones.
Some minor criticism are about the cable ...that its quite rigid, exspecially if you are a guitar/bass player and the cable will end to seats often on your lap/legs... the AKG cord was better.
Finally it haestetic is a little poor... it looks like a cheap plastic ....it could be more professional being true... anyway all the package is at least quite lightweight again thanks to the same plastic I guess, ... so they are ugly but functional, and very good sounding, muchmore close to monitor speakers than the AKG
;)
