Bought a pair of these for neutral sound playback. First impressions - solid construction, heavy, quality build. Turned them on. OMG. Loud doesn't begin to describe these - party with 100+ people no problem. No distortion at ear bleeding volume. Very flat response across entire frequency range. They don't generate bowel moving bass as they're only 8" cones but boy are they punchy. I just bought the ESI 10" sub to add a bit more bottom (waiting for it to arrive) but to be honest now I've listened to them for a week I shouldn't have bothered as they are really punchy. LOUD LOUD LOUD LOUD NO DISTORTION DID I SAY LOUD - BUY THEM NOW!!!!
