Ive recently purchased the Roland PDX-8 V pad for my TDK-3 kit. I have'd to say what an impressive pad for snare rudiments. The response from the mesh head really does give you a tight snare rebound which is fantasic for paradiddles and any other snare rudiments you care to try. I suggest using a lighter weight of drumsticks than you normally play with on an acoustic kit, as the "bounce" might not suit everyones style of playing. I give this pad 9/10 and it definately worth upgrading from the orignal rubber pad supplied with the TDK-3 Kit.
