Popular V-Drums Kit Expanded
Roland’s most affordable entry into the famous V-Drums family now comes with a mesh-head snare pad.
This great-feeling V-Pad™ is an addition to the pre-existing kit configuration, which means drummers now get an extra pad to use as another tom! In addition to the great price and new snare pad, the TD-3KV stands out…
By far the best of the entry level electronic kits, dont waste your time with the cheaper Yamahas and no-name makes when Roland V-Drums are available. These make the other cheap makes feel dead and leaden by comparison. Give it a few minutes playing and it honestly feels no different to a 'real' kit. Kit and drum sounds are fine, you'll find the ones you like and customise them to suit yourself. There's about 5 I use a lot and 1 that's my fave, the rest I never touch. You can fit the lot on the back seat of a car with ease, and control the volume to suit any situation. I can practice in my flat again, with no complaints from the neighbours! I'm not going back to real drums in a hurry, these are way too useful and great sounding. One tip though, the Roland drum amps are not brilliant, buy a keyboard/monitor amp and use that instead as its cheaper and better.
