Trilok Gurtu is a genius!
I can honestly say these are the best sticks i've ever played with. The yellow rubbery stuff is brilliant for grip and the thumb grove is exactly where the stick balances best for me. They're the perfect weight as well, just heavier than a 7A. They would be better with nylon tips and admitedly, they ca'nt take much punishment which sucks if your a heavy meatal fan. All in all, a brilliant set of sticks.

I have used these sticks for nearly 6 years now. Best sticks i have ever used. They are extremely light and comfortably weighted due to the unique thumb groove, they practically play themselves!

The yellow resin is grippy. The thumb groove is fantastic placed allowing the user to focus more on what’s being played and less about positioning. The stick has a natural feel/attack due to the hickory.

The only problem with these sticks are they are really delicate, they are perfect for Latin, samba and gentle progressive music but not so good for anything heavier. These sticks would not survive a rock/metal gig!

Great stick, shame they don't come in nylon tips or bigger sizes
