To sum up the K601’s in one word… Fantastic! But for a better description what can I say. These headphones are well made, light and very comfortable to wear for long periods, in fact you hardly notice you’ve got them on. If they last as long as other AKG headphones I’ve got, they’ll be around for many, many years. If it matters, I think they are pretty stylish too. But now for what really matters…. The sound is tight, crisp, clear, well separated, with a good frequency response and not phased by anything I've thrown at them (even at high volume, just to test them out you understand!). I.M.H.O. they are to open reference headphones what my Mackie HR624’s are to powered reference monitors! and maybe that says it all.

This is by no means a conventional or must-have pedal and would reccomend it only to experimentalists or those who enjoy making random noise. Essentially it's a delay pedal but by rocking the pedal the repeats can be pitch-shifted either to created a chorus style slight detune or for radical extremes. However, if you want a Whammy style pedal this is not for you as the pedal only allows pitch shift with delay. The delay is reasonable but there are far better units that can cover far more than this pedals 4 delay modes. The size of the pedal is an issue and takes up large amounts on my pedal board so is often placed next to it at gigs. I'm also worried about the durability of the all plastic construction. I mainly use the pedal to emulate the e-bow/delay/pitch-shift effect used at the start of 'My Iron Lung' by Radiohead and for created white noise in use with my other effects at the end of sets. Buy this for the sake of curiosity or creativity but don't expect it to fit your playing style immediately or perfectly.
