I purchased this amp new from another supplier this week and found the top of the cabinet was damaged prior to shipping (no damage to the outside of the unopened carton?) so i am waiting for a replacement to come in.
It is a well thought out design and really does deliver excellent tone. I have a small project studio kitted out with a Traps acoustic drumkit and the amp is loud enough to overpower the kick drum.
I plan on getting an amp stand made as it is a bit too "lowdown" for making tone adjustments but then on the other hand it doesn't take up any space.
I particularly like the fact that the CD/MP3 input does not get routed to either the pre-amp or D.I. outputs which means i can listen to the (Cd/MP3) input and only record whatever i play.
It also means that i can send an aux from the mixer to give the bass player a monitor mix during a live recording session - Great !
I wish it had footswitchable patch/compressor control and maybe an effects loop.
All in all though i am happy with it and the Bass Synth function is a lot of fun to play with - the knobs double as parameter controls when its in synth mode and can be saved too.

I took a long time finding this, as I wanted a 1x10 combo that does it all - compact size, plenty of inputs/outputs, sound quality for recording and practice plus enough volume to handle a small gig.

This has 1 bass guitar input with switchable -10db pad for actives if needed. Line input for CD player/drum machine etc. Headphone output, line output, DI output with ground lift. Comes with 4 amp sound models factory set, but all user editable - rotary controls for drive, bass, low-mid, hi-mid, treble, compression, master volume. 75 watts power. I mainly use it for practice & recording but occasional gigs/jams too.

Using with fretted and fretless basses - both have "P" & "J" type pickups. Fretted is active - amp handles it without using the -10db pad. My style couldn't be more eclectic and this combo delivers it all. Not noisy, but I do use top quality leads and both guitars are well screened. 4 sound models are "Clean" "R&B" "Rock" and "Grind" all editable. The Clean model can be overwritten with an alternative "Brit" model if desired, plus there's a synth mode, though I don't use this. The Clean model is just that - very hi-fi sound, good for slap bass. The Grind model is fairly distorted in the factory setting, so I have rolled the distortion off slightly. Overall sound quality is superb. The cabinet is closed (ie, no bass porting) but bass extension seems very good, despite the diminutive size. Seems to cope with high volumes OK - the inbuilt compression is good and keeps things well under control.

It looks solidly built. It's only a 1-foot cube, yet weighs in at an impressive 24 pounds

Been playing over 20 years, own a Westone Thunder III fretted bass and a Stagg fretless (with DiMarzio pickups). Having taken such pains to find this combo and being absolutely delighted with it now I have it, I strongly recommend it. My only, very minor, criticisms are that I wish it was possible to bypass the amp models and use it like a traditional amp. An external speaker output might come in useful sometimes too. However, at the present time there's nothing else out there in the market that can do all the things this combo does at this size or price!
