Does what it says on the box. I've used the amp with 4 different makes and impedance of headphones at the same time and it allowed us to balance up the sound levels to each musician's preferred level. A simple piece of kit, inexpensive yet very effective. Should have bought one years ago.

A product that almost any mobile recorder or home studio engineer needs! The most important thing when recording a band I feel is getting the musicians comfortable relaxed and playing with energy. Which is impossible when monitoring through poor headphone mixes. The Amp800 allows 8 seperate headphones to be plugged in using two seperate stereo inputs (You can insert mono as well if you desire) Each headphone output has a choice of inputs A or B, giving flexibility in the mix. I have found the sound quality of the AMP800 much higher than many more expensive headphone amps. This has enough power to drive the 600ohm headphones I use. I am happy as the bands are tracking better and the bands are happy as they can hear whats going on!

I use this headphone amp mainly for silent jamming and band practicing and it does everything I want it to do. I feed voc,bass,elec drums & guitar into a Phonic mixer amp and then I run two line mixes (main & monitor) from this into the Behringer headphone amp to feed four headphones. The sound quality is better than I expected, no distortion and everything clean as a whistle. Excellent and in-expensive choice for keeping your next door neighbours as friends!

A neat little unit that offers flexibility to the headphone output sources required to listen to at various stages through the mixing. This unit eliminates the need for continuous pluging and unpluging. Wonderful.
