More Reasons to Come to Liverpool

We hope that a visit to our new Guitar shop would be a good enough reason to visit Liverpool, but seeing as it such a great city to visit we have put together some info on other things you can do in Liverpool.

As a city, Liverpool is diverse, energetic and exciting: we really think there's something for everyone here. From Liverpool Performs 2006 to the Capital of Culture in 2008; football to festivals; music to maritime, try some of these suggestions and sample a slice of Liverpool culture.

Musical Liverpool

If music's more your scene, take a Liverpool Beatles Tour, with the Magical Mystery Tour, Cavern Club, Beatles Story or the Mathew Street Festival in August. Younger music lovers might prefer Creamfields on August Bank Holiday weekend, or Chibuku Shake Shake, while Wirral hosts the International Guitar Festival every Autumn.

Shopping and nightlife in Liverpool

Take a wander through central Liverpool, stopping at the new Met Quarter, home to a host of designer stores in Liverpool, including Armani, Gucci and Prada. Stop at Cavern Walks for stylish boutiques, including Bardot, Cricket, and Vivienne Westwood, before heading over to the waterfront to the Albert Dock, and its bars and boutique shops. Spend the night in style back in the city centre, at Alma de Cuba and Chibuku Shake Shake.

Arts & Culture in Liverpool

Spend a morning at the new World Museum Liverpool, or Museum of Liverpool Life at the Albert Dock -- they're great for family outings this half term. Art lovers shouldn't miss the Walker Art Gallery, and Tate Liverpool - or the Liverpool Biennial if you're visiting between September and November.
